Adam Phillips was formally principal child psychotherapist at Charing Cross Hospital in London. Today he is one of Britain’s leading psychoanalysts and writers. He is the author of many books including ‘Terrors and Experts’ and ‘Going Sane.’

He has served as Chair of the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain and Editor of the Journal of Philosophy of EducationHis books include ‘The Therapy of Education’ and ‘Stanley Cavell and the Education of Grownups.’

Sarah Beckwith is Katherine Everett Gilbert Distinguished Professor of English at Duke University. She works on medieval and early modern drama and the philosophy of ordinary language. Her books include Shakespeare and the Grammar of Forgiveness and, forthcoming, The Book of Second Chances.

Jonathan Cullen is a British actor who has appeared on stage, film and television.
